Here in Ecuador since the first day my hos...Agreed! Here in Ecuador since the first day my host mom always "demands"- "Ven a tomar algo" when it's time for dinner/coffee (she doesn't ask "Quieres tomar algo?"). But this has just shown me that she's being just like my mother would be at home, very direct in telling me to go eat/drink something.
